Strange Distribution of ITunes Gift Card’S Resale Value
The following graph was generated on Sept 14, 2007 and it shows a strange pattern with how the ITunes gift card’s resale value are distributed. Ideally, the resale value distribution for a gift card should follow something similar to a bell curve. However, the graphs show half of a bell curve for the lower end of the resale value. However, on the right hand side there are several peaks above the 100% resale value mark. Even the average and median resale value have a 5% difference. Further, research is required to determine what is causing this strange distribution.
