Resale Value for New Apparel Gift Cards
GiftCardNexus.com recently posted data on gift card resale value and metrics for American Apparel, Janie and Jack, Juicy Couture, and Justice (Just for Girls). The transactional volume for these gift cards are averaging between eight to nine transactions per month on eBay for each brand, which is much lower than the more popular brands, like Gap and Abercrombie & Fitch. However, the resale value of these gift cards are inline with other apparel gift cards ranging form 85% to 90%.
However, Juicy Couture resale value is fairly low at 62%.. The primary culprit for the low resale value is due to multiple batches of gift cards sold at substantial discounts last year. Analysis of the resale chart shows a resale price level forming around 88%.
Juicy Couture offers contemporary casual and dressy female apparels.
Janie and Jack is focused on children apparel and is owned by Gymboree. Janie and Jack gift card cannot be used at Gymboree.
Justice (Just for Girls) was formerly branded as Limited Too, which specialize in “tween” age clothing for girls.
